This innovative mount provides a concealed and easily accessible solution for mounting compressors, specifically compatible with ARB Twin/Single, Viair, and Smittybuilt Compressors. Key Features: Concealed Mounting: The BCM seamlessly mounts in place of the factory driver or passenger side rear storage box in the bed, offering a solid, secure, and convenient location for your compressor. Easy Installation: Facilitates the re-installation of the factory box lid after a simple modification (trimming) of the lid flange and removal of the box. The installation time is approximately 1.0 hour, excluding the wiring of the compressor. Durable Construction: Manufactured from high-quality 5052 .125 Aluminum, the BCM ensures strength and longevity. The powder coating enhances corrosion resistance, making it suitable for various weather conditions. Compatibility: The mount accommodates both ARB Twin/Single, Viair, and Smittybuilt Compressors, providing flexibility for your specific compressor choice. Mounting Hardware and Instructions: The BCM includes mounting hardware for easy installation on the vehicle, and detailed mounting instructions are provided for a hassle-free setup. Additional Notes: For Viair or Smittybuilt compressors, drilling is required in the bottom tray for installation. Expedition Essentials offers a compressor debris shield for customers with high clearance bumpers to prevent debris entry into the compressor intake and ensure long-term protection for the compressor electronics. Technical Notes: For 2019+ models, the BCM requires mounting on the passenger side, with a simple relocation of the factory power outlet (adapters available).
