If you own a Range Rover Sport L320 and you have lifted it to run larger-than-stock tires, there is a mechanical reality built into how Land Rover's air suspension system works that directly affects your ride quality and your long-term reliability on the street and on the trail. The Proud Rhino SYA Extension Kit system was engineered specifically to address it, and this listing covers the full L320 Range Rover Sport production run from 2005 to 2013. When lift rods are installed on an air-suspended Range Rover Sport, they work by signaling the air suspension system to continuously overfill the air bags in order to reach the new target ride height. The system is doing exactly what it is designed to do, but the result is that the air bags are held under sustained excess pressure to maintain that lifted position. This places the bags and the suspension system outside their intended operating range, and the distinctive ride quality that makes the L320 such a capable and comfortable Rover begins to suffer for it. The Proud Rhino SYA strut-mounted spacers solve this problem at the source. Rather than relying entirely on overfilled air bags to hold the vehicle at its lifted height, the spacers mount directly to the top of the strut and take up that space mechanically. With the spacers in place, the air bags no longer need to be overfilled to maintain the lifted stance. They return to a fill level much closer to their factory operating pressure, which brings the suspension geometry back toward its original design intent and restores the air suspension's natural ride quality. The result is a lifted Range Rover Sport that rides the way Land Rover intended it to ride. Important: The SYA spacers must always be installed in conjunction with Proud Rhino Lift Rods.
