2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma 3.5L CPLT Intake More Power. Clean V6 Sound. Designed specifically for the 2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma’s naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6, the SXTH Element CPLT Intake delivers dyno-proven power gains with no tuning required. A massive dry-flow filter, magnetic airbox lid, and platform-specific Helmholtz resonator bring together increased airflow, easy maintenance, and a clean intake sound without the annoying resonance. Dyno-Proven Performance Our Dynojet comparison recorded 254.39 wheel horsepower with the CPLT Intake , compared with 240.77 wheel horsepower with the OEM intake . That’s an increase of 13.62 peak wheel horsepower , with additional power and torque gains visible through much of the upper RPM range. Peak wheel torque increased from 237.82 to 243.98 lb-ft , a gain of 6.16 lb-ft between the recorded peaks . The displayed graph focuses on the upper RPM range, excluding the initial throttle roll-in affected by the automatic transmission’s kickdown behavior.
