2010–2024 Toyota 4Runner 4.0L CPLT Intake More Power. Clean V6 Sound. Designed specifically for the 2010–2024 Toyota 4Runner’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V6, the SXTH Element CPLT Intake delivers dyno-proven power gains with no tuning required. A massive dry-flow filter, magnetic airbox lid, and platform-specific Helmholtz resonator bring together increased airflow, easy maintenance, and a clean intake sound without the annoying resonance. Dyno-Proven Performance Our Dynojet comparison recorded 226.89 wheel horsepower with the CPLT Intake , compared with 216.31 wheel horsepower with the OEM intake . That’s an increase of 10.58 peak wheel horsepower , with additional power and torque gains visible through much of the upper RPM range. Peak wheel torque increased from 241.61 to 251.29 lb-ft , a gain of 9.68 lb-ft between the recorded peaks . The displayed graph focuses on the upper RPM range, excluding the initial throttle roll-in affected by the automatic transmission’s kickdown behavior. Results reflect the tested vehicle and conditions. Massive Filter, Purposeful Airflow Our new dry-flow filter features a 6-inch inlet , paired with a smooth taper to the factory MAF sensor diameter. This design supports increased airflow while preserving compatibility with the factory calibration and OEM drivability.
