AEV’s High-Steering Kit features custom steering knuckles, raised track-bar tower, heavy-duty draglink and tie-rod, plus a high-clearance steering damper relocation kit. When combined, the components used in the AEV High Steer kit improve steering ground clearance and flatten the geometry of the draglink and track-bar, drawing the Jeep’s front roll-center closer to its center of gravity. The result is crisper turn-in steering feel and reduced body-roll during spirited driving. Key Features Improved Steering Geometry: Raises steering linkages (tie rod by 2.75″, track bar/drag link by 2.5″) to correct geometry after lifting. Enhanced Handling & Stability: Flattens drag link/track bar angles, reduces bump steer and body roll, and moves front roll center closer to the center of gravity. Increased Off-Road Clearance: Raised steering linkages prevent impact with obstacles on rough terrain. Adjustable Steering Control: Features adjustable steering stops for fine-tuning lock-to-lock steering.
