Tested on a Forester with a 2.5L engine and XV Crosstrek with a 2.0L engine The Subaru Forester / XV Crosstrek Hidden Winch Mount is manufactured from 6mm (1/4"") zinc-coated steel, allowing great strength and corrosion resistance. The winch mount is designed to fit perfectly inside the OEM bumper without affecting its structure. Easily mounted to the vehicle's chassis using factory mounting points. No drilling required. Installing a winch on this mount will require cutting an opening through the OEM bumper in order to fit the winch lips in it. The hidden winch mount enables the full functionality of a recovery winch with minimal added weight to the front of the vehicle. Engineered to support winches up to 10,000 lbs. The kit includes all required mounting hardware. Kit does not include winch lips. Total weight 21 kg (47 lb).
