YETI XD™ 2018-2026+ JL/JT SECTOR SHAFT BRACE WITH TRACK BAR REINFORCEMENT BRACKET - STEEL STEERING BOX ONLY The YETI XD™ JL/JT Sector Shaft Brace With Frame Side Track Bar Reinforcement Bracket was engineered to bolt onto the stock track bar mount on the frame. The purpose of this piece is two-fold. First, the sector shaft support is meant to help minimize the aluminum and steel steering gears from flexing/deflecting/moving when cycling your steering system side to side. The second benefit of the product is to reinforce the frame side track bar mounting location to help minimize any deflection of this bracket and ensure that the mount doesn't break under extreme stress. Part #79041001 is compatible with 2018+ JL/JT models with STEEL STEERING BOXES. **2018-2020 Models with the ALUMINUM STEERING BOX should order kit #79041002 or will require additional hardware #79020002 ***Big Bore gearboxes also require our BIG BORE SUPPLEMENTAL KIT #79079001 FITMENT NOTES: This product is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DROP PITMAN ARM and the OEM pitman arm should be used. Vehicles that are not lifted and using a stock track bar will have very tight clearance between the trackbar and sector nut/bearing plate. This does vary based on age of spring and accessories on the front end. Sometimes, modifications can be made to accommodate clearance using the Steer Smarts trackbar. Not all aftermarket trackbars will work with the sector brace. It's been reported that Rough country, CORE 4x4 make contact with the sector nut.
