The Clayton Off Road jam nut wrenches are designed to provide a tight fit at a much more affordable cost. A standard 1-1/2" (1.500) wrench, is not only expensive but may allow too much wiggle room when you really need to torque down on your suspension hardware. This tool kit includes two wrenches. One is a crow's foot design that contacts all 6 sides of the 1" jam nut . The other is a standard designed wrench for easier access in hard-to-reach spots. Ensuring your suspension hardware is tight and remains tight is critical to years of trouble-free use. This wrench is therefore 1.485, which provides a superior fit , without the worry of rounding off your jam nut. Designed to be used with a 1/2 driver or torque wrench. NOTE Small is slightly undersized compared to a standard 1-1/2" wrench (1.500") 1.485" is the Inside width . These wrenches are designed specifically for the Jam Nuts used on Clayton Off Road products and may not work on non Clayton Off Road applications . These wrench ends are designed for typical installation and adjustment tasks. For situations requiring sustained high torque or frequent use, a properly sized box wrench is recommended. This set is intended to support Jeep enthusiasts during lift kit installation and general maintenance. Maximum torque should not exceed 200 ft/lbs!
