DA2525 is the left hand wing top panel for the classic Defender, the flat panel that runs along the top of the front wing from the bulkhead forward. It is a single panel for one side, and it covers the Defender 90, 110 and 130 across the whole 1987 to 2016 run. Wing tops are the first part of a Defender to go. They sit flat, they collect water around the seams and around every bolt hole, and once the rot starts under the paint it spreads along the panel rather than staying in one spot. By the time it shows from the outside the metal underneath is usually gone. Replacing the top panel is the normal repair, because the alternative is a whole new wing for the sake of the part that failed. This one is no longer in production. That is worth knowing not because it changes the part, but because the supply of panels for these cars is finite and does not improve with time. Check the orientation diagram on this listing before ordering. Left and right on a Land Rover are given as you sit in the car looking forward, which tricks people out more often than it should, and a wing top is not a part you want to ship twice. Frequently Asked Questions Which side is this? The left hand side, taken as you sit in the driver's seat facing forward. The right hand panel is a separate part number. Does it fit the 90, the 110 and the 130? Yes. The same wing top panel covers all three body styles across the 1987 to 2016 classic Defender. How many panels do I get? One. This is the left hand panel only, so a car needing both sides takes two part numbers.
