This listing covers both halves of the Genuine front hood name plate decal set for the Defender, part numbers DAB500290 and DAB500300. Together the two pieces spell out LAND ROVER across the front hood, with DAB500290 covering the LAND portion and DAB500300 covering the ROVER portion. Both are needed to complete the full name plate across the hood. These are Genuine Land Rover parts, confirmed directly through the JLR Electronic Parts Catalogue, and are the correct name plate decals for Defender models built within the applicable VIN window for this decal style. Fitting a matched, factory correct name plate to the front hood restores the original appearance for Rovers that came equipped with this style from the factory. Fits: Defender (VIN 7A000001 to DA999999) All Engines Part Number: DAB500290 & DAB500300 FREE SHIPPING TO THE LOWER 48! No supersessions found. FAQ Do I need both part numbers to complete the name plate? Yes. DAB500290 and DAB500300 together make up the complete LAND ROVER name plate across the front hood. Ordering only one part number will leave the name plate incomplete. Is this a Genuine Land Rover part? Yes. Both DAB500290 and DAB500300 are Genuine Land Rover parts. Does this fit every Defender L316? This decal set applies to a specific VIN range within the Defender L316 production run rather than every unit built. Please confirm your Rover's VIN falls within the applicable window before ordering, since Defenders outside this range may use a different name plate part number.
