The factory rear corners on a Jeep JK take a beating on the trail and quickly become a limitation when running larger tires. The factory sheet metal does not offer much protection, and the stock tail light placement leaves them exposed to damage. Builders often end up cutting or modifying the rear corners for clearance, but without proper armor, the body is left vulnerable and the finished result lacks structure.
