Product Description Stretching the rear axle on a Jeep YJ creates challenges that the factory body was never designed to accommodate. Without armor designed around the new wheelbase, the rear corners become vulnerable to trail damage and tire contact during articulation. The Motobilt 6" Stretch Corner Armor is designed specifically for builders moving the rear axle back 6 inches on a Jeep YJ. These aluminum corners provide protection for the modified rear body while creating a clean transition between the stretched wheel opening and the rest of the vehicle. The design complements the body modifications commonly required during a wheelbase stretch and helps protect the rear corners from rocks, obstacles, and trail abuse.
