JLU Gas Tank/T-Case MOD Skid (Gas 4DR Modular Skid Kit) Not ready for a full belly skid system, but still want to add protection beneath your transfer case and upgrade your fuel tank skid over the factory stamped unit? Introducing our new Mod Skids! These are modular, affordable base systems that include the same pieces as our traditional Full Belly Skid Systems -- but broken down into multiple pieces so you can protect exactly what you want, and expand your protection later if desired. This base skid kit (fuel tank and transfer case skid) can later be paired with the appropriate engine/transmission skid for your JL, and further expanded with our other MOD Skid options! Please note that this will only work with 4 Door "Unlimited" models, that are Gasoline Powered -- this will *NOT* work with any Diesel or Hybrid/Electric/4xE Models of the JL! Expanding to a full system later? This page is specifically for Gasoline Powered 4 Door JL Models such as the Factory 392 Hemi V8 JLU Models and 2.0 Turbo and 3.6 V6 JLU Models , however we also offer skid systems for the 3.0 EcoDiesel JLU Models . Want to be ready for any trail, any time? Skid plates provide advanced protection for your JL's most critical components -- your engine, transmission, transfer case, DEF tank, and fuel tank -- while you're tackling tough terrain, technical obstacles, and of course for the ride home. When you're looking to save weight, given the added protection these skids offer over factory pieces, full belly skids become the largest piece of real estate to consider on or under your Jeep.
