JL Aluminum Rear Inner Fender Liner (40 Inch Plus) for Big Tires Looking to mount up 40" or larger tires on your JL? We designed this fender liner specifically to match our 40"+ Steel brackets (which are INCLUDED) that tie everything in the body back together after you do trimming to maximize clearance. Don't want to do any trimming? Check out our standard Rear Inner Fender Liners here! CAD Designed with maximum tire clearance and suspension up travel in mind (Trimming IS REQUIRED for this version!) Tested specifically with 40"-42" tires for maximum clearance and trimming without removing structural integrity in the JL body. Allows for 3/8" wheelbase stretch to the rear - so you only have to trim the back of the wheel well; not the front. This prevents you from getting any water intrusion into the passenger compartment/JL tub! Laser Cut and Precision CNC Formed from 0.09" 5052 Aluminum Quick bolt together assembly required for initial installation Arrives ready to powder coat if desired Sold as 1 pair (left/right) Designed to work with shocks from Factory to aftermarket large body with multiple bypass/reservoir setups Designed to work with factory shock mounts or RKs extended shock/coilover rear mounts (see Shock Compatibility below) The Details The factory black plastic "splash guards" you'll find in the wheel openings of your JL can leave a bit to be desired. Our new rear inner fender liners can be installed with factory fender flares, our JL Rear Fender deletes and are also compatible with our JL Rear High Line Fender Flares! Our rear fender liners are laser cut in house from 0.09" thick 5052 Aluminum - which means they are 30% thicker than most 0.06" (16 Gauge) liners on the market, offering a bit more rigidity.
