The Rusty's HD Steering System with RockJock Highsteer Knuckles is the ultimate steering solution for serious off-road enthusiasts with Jeep JL Wrangler (2018-Current) and JT Gladiator (2020-Current) models running over 4.5 inches of lift. This system is specifically designed to overcome the limitations of the factory steering components, providing maximum ground clearance, unparalleled strength, and crucial correction of steering geometry for safer, more predictable handling. Geometry Correction and Bump Steer Elimination Extreme vehicle lifts dramatically change the angle of the drag link and track bar, often leading to poor on-road manners, vehicle wandering, and the dangerous condition known as bump steer. Bump steer occurs when these two crucial suspension components operate on mismatched angles, causing them to rotate non-parallel to one another. The result is a steering system that pushes down on the axle instead of moving the wheel in a straight, lateral motion. Rusty's has solved this by developing a system that includes the Rusty's Raised Track Bar Bracket. These components work in tandem to ensure the drag link and track bar are returned to a flatter, parallel alignment. By correcting these angles on highly-lifted vehicles, the system delivers a significant improvement in driving characteristics, offering smoother turning, reduced driver fatigue, and much better overall handling.
