TF854 is the Terrafirma rear differential guard for the Land Rover Defender 110 and 130, and it is the one made for the Wolf type rear axle. That last part is the whole story on this guard, because a Defender rear axle that is not the Wolf type takes a different guard entirely. The rear differential sits low and unprotected, hanging below the axle line where it is the first thing to meet a rock, a tree root or a hidden stump. A hit hard enough to crack the casing ends the day and usually the differential with it. The guard takes that hit instead, and it is made of zinc plated steel so it is not quietly rusting away under the car between the times you need it. Fitment is for the 110 and the 130 built from 2002 to 2016 running the Wolf type rear axle. If you are not sure which axle is under your Defender, check before ordering rather than after, because the wrong guard will not line up. Frequently Asked Questions Does this fit any Defender 110? No. It is specific to the Wolf type rear axle on the 110 and 130 from 2002 to 2016. A Defender on a standard rear axle needs a different guard. What is it made of? Zinc plated steel, so it resists corrosion in the place on a Defender where corrosion does the most quiet damage. Does this cover the front differential too? No. This is the rear guard only. The front differential is a separate part. Fits: Defender 110 (2002 to 2016) Defender 130 (2002 to 2016) Part Number: TF854 Free shipping to the lower 48!
